saddle fitting
I will come to visit you or you can come to my barn. Its important that the horse is clean and you are ready to ride. I will then do a evaluation of your horse to check for any soreness and anything that may effect the fit of the saddle. we will do both a static and dynamic evaluation of your horse to check for any physical restrictions that may be caused by the fit of the current saddle.
After the evaluation of the horse, we will move on to the saddle.I will check the tree to make sure it is in good shape,check the balance and structure of your saddle as well as assessing the panels.Then we will do a static fit on the horse afterwords you will be required to ride to do the saddle in motion evaluation.
At this point I will provide you with a honest and accurate assessment as to how your saddle fits and what we can do to make it better. If we adjust the flocking you will be asked to ride again. We can almost always adjust the flocking on site, most all saddle manufacturers produce their saddles with flocking holes so this is able to be done properly and with out have to drop the panels.With out being there and having the ablity to tweek it as needed there is no way to assure it fits until you ride in it.If your saddle cannot be flocked on site or it needs more work ,It will be then taken to my work shop and returned and fitted .
If the saddle is foam we can usually fit it with the help of pads and shims
